2010 Cattle Drive for Hunger Quilt |
 This is the 2010 Quilt for Hunger Community
Fundraiser quilt. It is a beautiful hand made quilt in shades of
green and pink made by Marie Gerstner, Danielle Gerstner’s
grandmother, from Auglaize County. This is the ninth in a 12
year commitment for the Ohio CattleWomen as we want to
benefit each of the 12 districts in Ohio. The proceeds from this
year’s quilt will benefit District 9 which includes Fairfield,
Hocking, Licking, Muskingum, and Perry Counties.
The money from the quilt raffle goes to purchase beef for
agencies that provide food to the hungry in Ohio. As you know,
food pantries and other agencies can use all the help they can
get during these difficult economic times. Tickets for the quilt
are being sold be the officers and the District Coordinators.
They are $1.00 each or $5.00 for 6 tickets. Be sure to purchase
your chances on this beautiful quilt and help feed hungry people
in Ohio. The District Coordinators are listed in the newsletter.
Feel free to contact your representative for tickets or to help sell
tickets within your district.
